What I collect

Your email address, the date, the site language, the page the signup came from, your trade if you fill it in and, if you ticked it, the “on Windows” flag. Nothing else: no profiling, no advertising tracker.

Why

To write to you while I build the app, to tell you about the launch, and to measure demand for a Windows version. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long

Until you unsubscribe, or three years after the last message if the list is closed. Unsubscribing takes one click from any email.

The “Ask Hector” assistant

When you ask a question, only the note excerpts useful to that question are sent to the model, for as long as it takes to compose the answer. They are not used to train it. The rest of your notes never leaves your Mac, and the assistant writes nothing without your approval.

Your rights

Access, correction, erasure, portability and objection, on request at legal@hectornotes.com. Answer within thirty days. If we disagree, you can refer the matter to the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

This site sets none: no analytics, no social buttons, no ad network. Nothing to accept, so nothing to refuse.
